Browsing
The Market is organised into categories such as Phones, Computers, Fashion, Beauty, Food, Home, Construction, Solar, Automotive, Agriculture and Services. Search by name or tap a category. Each product page shows photos, price, the seller's profile and how to buy.
Listing a product
- Open Business (or Market → Sell) and set up your store.
- Tap Add product, add clear photos or a short video, a title and description.
- Set the price. Market prices on ARIVA are shown in Pi and USD where the seller sets them.
- Choose stock quantity and whether you ship or offer pickup.
ARIVA AI can write a product description for you — give it the name, price and a few details.
Chat with the seller
Every product has a Chat button that opens Connect with the seller. Ask about size, colour, delivery to your area or bulk prices before you buy.
Escrow protection
For Pi orders, ARIVA holds the payment in escrow:
- You pay with Pi through the official Pi SDK. ARIVA's server confirms the real payment.
- The seller ships and adds a tracking code or proof photo.
- You confirm delivery — then the money is released to the seller.
- If something is wrong, open a dispute. An ARIVA admin reviews and decides: release, refund or split.
If you don't confirm or dispute within 7 days after shipping, the order is released automatically.
Only pay through the ARIVA checkout. If a seller asks you to send money outside ARIVA, escrow cannot protect you.
Fees
ARIVA takes a 5% fee on escrow orders. The seller receives the rest when the order is released. There is no fee to list products.
Shipping
Sellers arrange delivery themselves — by dispatch rider, park, courier or pickup. Agree on the method and cost in chat before paying.
Naira payments
Paying in Naira (cards, bank transfer) is Planned. Today, checkout on ARIVA uses Pi. You can still use the Market to discover products and talk to sellers.
Points for sellers
Sales do not earn Rewards points yet. Order-based points are listed as future work on the Rewards page.
