Step 1 — Create your account
Open ARIVA and tap Sign in. You can use Google, Microsoft, email, phone or Pi. Pick whichever is easiest for you; you can link other methods later and they will all open the same account.
If you choose email, use an address you can open, because ARIVA sends a confirmation link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Step 2 — Add your name and photo
Go to Menu → Profile. Add a display name people will recognise (for example "Mama Tolu Fabrics" or "Chidi Okafor"), a username, and a clear profile photo. You can move, zoom and rotate the photo before saving. A real photo helps people trust you, especially if you plan to sell.
Step 3 — Follow a few people
Your Home feed fills up with posts from people you follow. Search for friends, local businesses or creators and tap Follow. You can unfollow any time.
Step 4 — Try the main things
- Post — tap "What's on your mind?" on Home to share text, photos, video, a poll or a voice recording.
- Message — open Connect, pick a contact who is on ARIVA and say hello. Calls from Connect use your internet data, not airtime.
- Browse the Market — look through categories like Phones, Fashion, Food or Solar. Tap a product to see details and chat with the seller.
- Listen — open Channel TV, then choose Radio for stations in your language.
Step 5 — Take the tour
A short guided tour points at the real buttons and explains them in English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or Pidgin. You can restart it from Menu → Settings → Help / User Guide.
Everything is available now
There are no staged releases to wait for. Features that are not finished are clearly marked Coming soon so you are never confused about what works.
Using ARIVA in the Pi Browser
If you open ARIVA inside the Pi Browser, you can sign in with Pi and pay with Pi. While ARIVA is being reviewed by Pi Network, payments may run in Sandbox mode, which uses test Pi and moves no real value. The app tells you which mode is active.
Install ARIVA on your phone
On Android Chrome, ARIVA offers Install Now after a few seconds. On iPhone, open ARIVA in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The installed app opens full screen like any other app and always loads the newest version.
