One account, many ways in
ARIVA lets you sign in with Google, Microsoft, email and password, phone number or Pi. Whichever you use, you land in the same ARIVA account. Linking a second method does not create a second profile, so your posts, chats and orders stay together.
Your profile
Your profile is what other people see. It includes:
- Display name — the name shown on posts and chats.
- Username — a short unique handle, like @chidi_okafor, used in links and search.
- Photo and cover photo — change them from your own profile page. Other people cannot edit them.
- Bio, location and website — optional details about you.
You also choose what appears on your profile. In the profile editor, tick or untick actions (Follow, Subscribe, Message, Voice call, Video call, Share) and sections (About, Location, Website, Counts, Shared groups). Your choices apply on every device.
Verification
ARIVA only shows verification badges that were actually checked. For companies posting jobs, address and registration checks are done on ARIVA's side or by an admin — you can never mark yourself verified. Personal identity checks (KYC) for rewards are Planned; they are not required today because there is no payout to protect yet.
Linking your Pi username
If you are a Pi Pioneer, you can sign in with Pi from the Pi Browser. Your Pi username is linked to your ARIVA account so Pi payments in the Market can be matched to you. ARIVA never asks for your Pi passphrase — anyone who asks for it is trying to steal from you.
Signing out
Open Menu → Settings and tap Sign out. On a shared phone, always sign out when you finish.
Changing your password
If you use email sign-in, go to the sign-in page and tap Forgot password. ARIVA emails you a secure link to set a new password. If you signed in with Google, Microsoft or Pi, your password is managed by that service instead.
Exporting or deleting your account
From your profile settings you can download a copy of your data or permanently delete your account. Deletion removes your profile, posts and messages you sent, and cannot be undone.
Tips to keep your account safe
- Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
- Never share sign-in codes sent to your phone or email.
- Sign out of phones you don't own.
